It was supposed to be all super realistic and looked really cool, but this looks SO much cooler. I love that they just did something completely different from other FPS with this game. Between Portals, Episode 2, and this, Valve has got me hooked. HawkMan Posted August 30, 2006 Share Posted August 30, 2006 TF2 Dev meeting: dev 1: we need to do somethign different to make this game stand up and justify the long delays. dev 2: yeah but what, it's all done to death. dev 1: hey Dev 3 are you payign attention here ? dev 3: oh sorry, was just playing Evil Genius on my laptop Well it looks good and all that. but... well... it's a bit cartoony and stuff. looks like they're marketing it to sell to kids too, not so much because of the cartoonyness, but the lack of any real violence and blood and stuff. granted they're not essential for good gameplay but... it just seems a bit like it's targetted at kids somewhat, despte beein hugely violent, in a cartoony kind of way.
