EnixNeo
My friends taskbar time/date display looks like this: This happened after switching her computer to dual-display (changing the resolution) and then returning it to single display. The taskbar looks like it is taller than it is suppose to be (the Norton sign is the regular height of the taskbar before this problem), the system tray icons look pixelated (like they are being stretched), and the time display is trying to squeeze the day into the display. How do I fix this to return to the regular taskbar? Thanks for the help in advance. ozgeek
Try unlock the taskbar and resize it. It should adjust back to the default height. EnixNeo
Yeah I've tried that and it seems to think that this is the default size. I thought it might be that because it is displaying both time and day it is stretching the taskbar up a bit to make room. Does anybody know how to return time/day to the default view of just time? I know that if the taskbar is raised to twice it's height it displays time, day, and date but in this case its raised about 1.5 the height and I have no way of restoring the default. Tech_Dude_5000
I had this problem once before and it was from making the theme large/extra large.. Just make sure your theme is set to normal/defalut. then unlock the taskbar and resize it. if that didn't fix the problem try rebooting the pc and it should work from there..
