XxDeadlyxX
On nVidia's FTP, there are new Vista drivers for both x86 and x64. I have been waiting ages for these, now to test them out. ftp://download.nvidia.com/Windows/96.33/ The drivers are of a decent size (38mb for x86, 46mb for x64), I will report back soon. Going to test on Vista 5536.

XxDeadlyxX
The Control Panel is almost the same was 88.61 except the things there that previously did not work now appear to work without producing errors (AA/AF control, program-specific settings). XP sections such as colour control etc are non-existant. From what I can tell, performance is still very unstable. This is most notable in CSS.... many fps dips. The drivers install without problem. They also run Glass quite well. No Digital Vibrance control either, so things look as bland as ever on my screen. Also as the release notes say, DirectX AA doesnt work via control panel. It did, however, work from in-game settings in CSS. Vsync does work in this release, whereas it did not in Beta 2. I have a feeling the first driver to rival XP's will be at Vista RTM Oh well... cant expect too much i guess

+John. Subscriber¹ Posted September 2, 2006 Subscriber¹ Share Posted September 2, 2006 they're working just fine in 5536 Even so, it's recommended you only use them on the stated build, as at the moment they are build-specific. Cheers for the update (Y)
