Office 2007 Beta 2 Technical Refresh - Tomorrow

You'll be able to download the Beta 2 TR release as of 9:00AM tomorrow (Thursday), on the Office Preview site.

(I'm assuming that means 9:00am PST)

So 5pm GMT... now I have to find something to occupy myself for five hours :p

i was waiting, like 2 more minutes but then dinner came here in holland, haha at the person 2 minutes after 9AM PST :p

EDIT: is the big file of 445mb a patch?

It was actually available about 5 minutes before noon EST it just took me a few minutes to start the download and post on here. not that i care about being first or anything, i just thought everyone would want to know! :yes:

i would be ecstatic if Outlook 2007 B2TR allowed you to create incoming mail rules based on the sender's categorisation in your contacts list

I'll eat my words if I'm wrong, but I could almost categorically promise you that that will not / cannot happen.

That is unless you were willing to have a public contact book :p

well, i know it might be difficult/CPU-intensive to check what category you've classed the sender in (assuming he's already in your contacts), but i'm sure it *could* happen.

Either that, or they need to make distribution lists more dynamic. Frankly I find DLs very tiresome and rubbish to use

I mean during setup in Vista when the clock shows up for the first time and you are asked to set your time zone. The clock is set to Redmond time until you change it.
