Vista RC2 released

zomg, I cannot wait any longer!

I took the day off work for this!! I got myself a pot of coffee and I'm ready to go!

Tell me you're joking :pinch: Unless you're a "proper" tester and you're waiting for your email.

Wow. It's great that you're hyped up and all, but isn't that a bit of a waste of a days leave?? I imagine you won't be best amused if it doesn't end up getting released until either late, or tomorrow :)

Amazes me when I read comments like this. For some, life doesn't exist outside of a monitor

How many hours from now?

Seems they generally release just about everything around 9AM PST, Noon EST, which is about and hour and a half from now. Of course, in reality I have no idea, but if I had to nail down a time, that would be it. I'm probably way off though

Hello, has anyone got any info on SQL 2005 SP1 compatibility or got SQL 2005 SP1 on vista or longhorn server 5600 RC1 running ? Currently running vista 5738 & longhorn server 5600 with visual studio 2005 with SP1 beta, currently there are no MS solutions to fix this rather major problem, any info would be very gratefully received.

Possible link to 5744

This is just RC2 chaps! How are going to be during RTM?

Personally, I hope this build is a "quality build" Installs perfectly, no conflicts and works well with software..

5 years of following longhorn/vista all leading up to this...

Anyone want some of the old milestone alpha releases?? So leaked by M$ anyway... (Just kidding!)

Those who "tested" Whistler/Windows XP may remember how many "unofficial" beta builds were leaked? And how hardly any internal vista builds have hit the web??

Dell XPS 600 owners like me, ar keeping everything crossed that this build installs!!!

COME ON M$!!

I am going to download this, when it gets on connect. Not install it until tomorrow or the next day when I can back things up again, or find a way to make an image so thats easier. Like i said earlier hopefully this build has sounds.

oh come on.. how many of you call in sick so that you can play the game that you've just bought, or to fix your broken computer? :)

I had the day off for HL2 release and completed it within a day. Was well worth it :p [/GEEK]

hum, im waiting for it... any bug list corrections yet?

Microsoft does not release that information to the public. You will have to wait until it is released and people have a chance to load it and see if things that were a problem for some are now fixed.

I unlocked it the minute (literally, the minute) it was available on Steam (I had it preloaded for a month) I think it came out at 10:01 my time or something like that.

...I stayed up playing all night long, and beat it the next morning. Great (short) game
