UPDATE:

2800 Barton @ 2.27ghz 433FSB, 1.72vcore Memory timings 2-3-3-7

Excellent  :D

I eliminated some possible instability in my rig, and finally got things running my memory within specs, 433FSB 2-3-3-7 timings... :D

I want your ram :shifty:

2500+ Barton @ 2.328Ghz 423fsb (my timings are 2-3-3-10)

I would say the locking of this cpu hurts me, but it doesn't seem to even matter... I feel with faster ram I could go a lot higher on it, especially with the temps that I have, but this is fine. :)

XP2100+ 1733 @ 2200 (200 * 11)

amazes me about my ram though.. i sold my pc2700 (1 x 512) , using an old stick of pc2100 (1 x 512) right now .. just until my pc3500 dual gets in.

so.... 133 @ 200 .. no artifacts .. thought maybe it would die.. but i guess its trying to hold on till i get my new stuff in .. and i can put it back in my sons desktop.. lol

it runs 38C idle and 47C while folding, with a Cooler Master Jet 4, my previous CPU was a 3.0C and it ran 28C idle 38C under load. I do more video encoding, photoshop (which launches much much faster with the swap) and raring/iunraring of huge files at the same time then i do play games so the prescott performs great for me, the heat levels are acceptable, and it was pretty much an even trade for the cpu so i'm happy with the exchange. Hopefully when SSE3 is put to use it will actually make a difference, time will only tell.

Update:

Got my setup to 2.315ghz 441FSB 1.75vcore (220 x 10.5), nice and stable (Y).

Fixing a problem I created has let me finally realize the full potential of this board. I might try the 11 multiplier and see how well I can do 2.4ghz and how far I can take it.

Nice, it's about time you pushed your CPU speed! :p

Now.. for me too break into your house to take the RAM and push my system :shifty: :ninja:

Just go to 11, it should work out fine, I am already *stuck* there ;)

/edit - tho watch your temps, don't want to be cooking things hehe

Got a new CPU for my bday (yay (Y) )

Its a 2600+, stock is 12.5 * 166, its now at 12.5 * 184 = 362fsb = 2300mhz

I cant push it further for now cos my power supply has begun to crap out. Ill push it further when i get a new one though :D

BTW does anybody know if its multiplier locked?

Just change the multiplier to 12 and see if it saves that way, mine will let me change it but will always default back to 11 (mines locked) :(

oh yeah? Homer needs more FSB.

Ghz above 2.2ghz for AMD isn't all that great if you don't add enough FSB. It's like driving really fast down a narrow road. IF you got more speed you want more road. That's why I have chosen a lower multiplier, and consequently lower temps are there too. I can do 2.315ghz 441FSB and don't see much temp change at all, infact I swear it's cooler and that's raising the vcore too. I check with my laser thermometer. ;)

My overclocked PDA :)

Casio PocketPC Model E115

Overclocked from 133 mHz to 206 mHz by connecting two pins on the mainboard... I used a resistor for greater stability but most commonly a pencil graphite is used for this.

Hehehe... My dorm room is waaayyy to hot to try an overclock my Althon XP and many computer fans are noisy :-/
