got my 2800 Athlon XP @ 2.2ghz 440FSB, 1.65v, 2.8vdimm, (2-3-3-7(for now)). I need my pc to be as fast as possible @ the lowest vcore. This so it will be cool enough to allow me to lower my Fan speeds to be silent. This might change once I get the new mobo and AS5. I might be able to do 2.3ghz 433FSB nice a cool.

I was tempted to do mods to my chip, but I hate to do anything permanent. ;) I fiddle around some, it will run on an 8x multiplier just fine, but still the highest FSB I can do is 470FSB.

Mine is a 2.4 Ghz P4 with a Volcano 7+ heatsink and fan (I use the word fan lightly, scientists have proven its actually the worlds smallest jet engine :p  )

but its OC-able to 3.1 Ghz.... stable. (well, mostly stable.... it sometimes hangs when compiling something at that speed)

Got myself a nice new Abit NF7-S rev. 2.0. The case fan wasn't working on the previous one, had to cross RMA it. Anyway, my OC seems better. I got 2.3ghz 440FSB on a 1.72v. Now running 2.38ghz 433FSB, 1.82v CAS 2-3-3-7. I could do the 2-3-2-6 again, but it would be slightly hotter. Given that I need to run my PC in silent mode, I need less heat.

Speaking of heat, I got Artic Silver 5 (AS5). It is much better than AS3. My temps are now 42C-50C cpu 29-32C chipset with the OC. Much better than before at 50-64C/38-45C. Great stuff.(Y)
