List Your Overclocks..

Athlon XP 2500+ @ 2.2GHz 1.75 Volts (3200+). Generic DDR400 RAM @ DDR333 (Cheap RAM = computer crashing at rated speed. Grrrr)

Pretty decent if you ask me, using stock cooling. Gonna get a nice heatsink soon, gonna try and push it to 2.4 or 2.5 GHz.

I overclocked my Palm Tungsten E from 126 to 168 MHz.

If that doesnt count: I overclocked my old desktop from 1.0 to 1.1 GHz (AMD Thunderbird). I know it isnt much but I wanted to speed it up a little bit, and of course brag that my computer is overclocked.

I wouldn't dare overclock my laptop...it would probably melt (i mean it already runs at 70C to 75C when playing games, which i cant imagine is good in such a small enclosure).

X800 Pro to X800 XTPE @ 500/1.1

most most recent stable overclock, and my fastest system overclock can be found in my sig

how is it possible to do that? Because I thought that the pro only had 12 pixel pipelines and the XTPE had 16, and it would be impossible to change that?

hehe, yeah dooey knows whats up... i love that word IMPOSSIBLE

X800 Pro's with VIVO are not laser cut on the chip to disable the other pipes, it is a bios thing, ATI's bios do not overwrite the portion of the bios that tells it to disable the 12, Gigabytes Bios but only if you use Gigabytes own Flashing tool, then i flash it back to X800 Pro, and 16 pipes are still active. then to adjust final memory timings by using ATi's XT Bios. Ati built Pros with VIVO seem to be Bios locked XT's plain and simple, or cores that couldn't handle the stock speeds of 520MHz, which seems to be the case with mine. I am very pleased with the results is all i can say. I did use some solder weld (low temp solder that doesn't need an iron, just low flame, since i couldn't find silver paint) to connect the points before flashing, but on vivo cards i'm not sure if thats even needed.

Anything Counts! :) if you overclock a TI-81 to a TI-83 calculator, i'd find it pretty interesting.

p.s. as i side not i kinda overclocked my laptop by taking it apart and swapping cpu's so its not over clocked but based on specs for that unit its 100Mhz faster then it should be :p

I stuck a desktop CPU in a labtop

damn did that thing run hot :pinch:
