blik
who is on a superior processor to whom? with higher speeds?if you are referring to the s939 3000 to my s754 3000, you better think again. Sisoft is clearly showing mine killing his. :p 585396210 Drop your memory to my speed and you'll see I'm neither stupid or blind. My RAM is the only thing keeping my MIPS score lower... And as for "killing" mine, I think you are blind, can you see my MFLOPS? j.r.l.
Its really an Athlon 2400+... It thinks its a 2700 because of the MHz. I get good benchmarks (better then Athlon 3200+ s!). I managed to do this on 1:1 on PC2100 ram. Its all stable. Nice overclock for a 2400+ tbred Very nice temps. Ambiant temp is 31?C (heater is on) CPU runs at 34? when ambiant temp is normal. j.r.l.
OK, I managed to reach as high as 154FSB (~2076GHz) on PC2100 but I was recommended to take it back to 148MHz... I could reach higher with my PC2100 ram (I know its insane) but this is where I'm stopping, until I can afford some better ram (and a mobile athlon 2600+) Link to comment https://www.neowin.net/forum/topic/50448-list-your-overclocks/page/38/#findComment-585429823 Share on other sites

The SuperTalent memory is reasonably priced, and runs neck in neck with Kingston's best on the benchmarks. May try for something a little faster, but am pretty damn satisfied at the moment. Am thinking about building another system, and running with the new nVidia 4 chipsets and a PCI slot, but with the AGP version of the 6600GT running like it is, well ... Link to comment https://www.neowin.net/forum/topic/50448-list-your-overclocks/page/38/#findComment-585438153 Share on other sites

But 1.45 to 1.67 isn't a lot to acheive 600mhz, 120FSB OC. Link to comment https://www.neowin.net/forum/topic/50448-list-your-overclocks/page/38/#findComment-585440748 Share on other sites

darkhooda
Just a note, different versions of Sisoft Sandra have different benchmarking. On that version seen used by Samoa and Jackalope (probably 2004), the things are higher. On that version seen used by Samoa and Jackalope (probably 2004), the things are higher. 585443238 Gee just single me out... :p FYI, 2004 runs 32bit tests higher than 2005 version. 2004 runs 64bit lower than 2005. So there is some discrepancy in the scoring yes. Is that my fault? no. Are my benchmarks note worthy, yes. Should you care, probably not. To me, it's about measuring how well your own system compares to things you do to it. It's nice to have a guide, basic comparisons of other types and similar sytems. Visentinel
This is the best my Winchester can do -_- Really dissapointed, some peoples winchesters can reach 2.8ghz with this kind of Vcore >_> 500mhz oc and this kind of performance is still something to dance about lol :D There was a time i was happy about having PC2700... i so need money, really must have ddr550.. and a 6800gt .. Benchmarks and passes Super PI I could boot and play with 2.6ghz with 1.65 but can u pass super PI ? Its all about passing Super PI Samoa.. if it doesnt, you have errors in your chip, those errors may never cuase u problems, but its just better if those errors arent there. In my case trying to pass 2.65ghz can cuase so many errors my bios cant complete a CMOS burn and when my pc goes to POST it CMOS checksum Invalid.
