It works great for previewing partially downloaded files too as well as DVDs, VCDs, and various streaming protocols. It can also be used as a server to stream in unicast or multicast in IPv4 or IPv6 on a high-bandwidth network. noroom Posted October 24, 2006 Share Posted October 24, 2006 I don't know exactly what codec was used for the AVIs I tried, but it happened too when I switch between aspect ratios and DVD subtitles/audio tracks, it just crashes. It came to the point that I could make it crash in under 20 seconds. grik Posted October 25, 2006 Share Posted October 25, 2006 i have one bug to report, the earlier version when a file was corrupted or partially corrupted, the software was warning about that fact before playing it, and giving option to rebuild it or cancel.
