hagjohn
Anyone having a bug with this and disk defragmenter build into vista. After installing this, disk defragmenter won't run. I cannot open defrag. I had not tried it before though. RootWind
Great software. Never had any problems with it. But I had the hope they would do something with the crude interface in future versions... Here is Eset Security Suite 3.0's interface from a few months ago: We won't be seeing 3.0 for a while. There is only 2.7 since 3.0 won't be finished in time for Vista. Meaning it might be hopefully done by Spring next year. Danrarbc
To be honest I don't care what my AV looks like. If they can make 3.0 look like that and not slow it down, at all, then great. But this isn't a media player here, so it's not critical. But since I open the interface of NOD32 only once a month or so I always start searching for the item I want. The usability is near zero. And of course NOD32 should not be slower with a different user interface. phpmaven
Despite Eset's claims to the contrary, 2.7 is NOT Vista compatible. People, including myself, are reporting a number of problems. It kills the task scheduler as well as the disk defragmenter. Obviously they have a lot more testing to do. uniacidz
Thanks for the heads up. XP runs fine, will check for vista later but from what it seems, others on vista have issues.
