Ohio State or Florida?

yeah, i'm sick of this comparison of fla's defense to michigan's. i would take michigan any day, even in team speed. i HATE this whole team spped thing. it was disproven years ago. no area of the country is faster than any other. michigan and the big 10 have beaten florida and sec in bowls before, team speed has never been an issue. in fact, UF is 1-3 in their last 4 bowl games against the big 10. what happened to team speed there?

why don't we asky vandy who had a tougher D? vandy nearly won that game. on the other hand, vandy barely sniffed mid field when they played michigan. florida needed a miracle to beat south carolina. they beat tenn by 1. they lost to AUBURN (who is having a very down year. who's qb also went 4-12 with 4 ints against georgia). they beat a weak georgia team by 1 TD.

apparently you are supposed to vote for the best matchups these days, not who's actually the 2nd best team in the country. and if you want a good laugh at some true sec homerism, there's plenty of that too.

What does that have to do with defense? Come on, Bro, this is ridiculous. You want to throw teams out there, what about Michigan barely beating Ball State at home? They allowed 26 points to Ball State. The Gators allowed a total of 21 points to their OOC opponents while Michigan allowed 24 combined to Vandy and Western Michigan alone.

I know people are bitter. Hell, I'm bitter because the Gators are in a position where they have to beat OSU or else nationally they will be ridiculed. And if they win, everyone will say "Well, Michigan would have beat OSU the 2nd time".

Bottom line is you will never give UF credit, even if they win. And it's not your fault. Like I've said, the old system of using the Coaches' and AP polls was better than this garbage.

its all about match ups. and the gators are the fastest D. does that mean there better then Michigan, no. but its all about match ups. saying that i think michigan will be a better match up for ohio st. if ohio st. D can stop the Gators the gators win, if the gators D stops ohio st. they will win its all about match ups. some teams play better bs other teams.. conf games are alot harder then no conf games to win.
