s0ldats
does anyone else need to forward port 6112 to their computer to play starcraft? or does battle.net just hate me?
Dark Templar
I assume that this "RT314" you are talking about is a router? My friend has a Linksys router (don't know the model number) but configuring UDP port 6112 was not necessary on his machines. Grab a copy of your router manual and see if they have anything on configuring the ports.
s0ldats
yea, i did. i was just curious if anyone else with this same router had to...because on other routers i've had, you didn't have to do anything extra.
syscrash2k
I got an rt314. Just enable dmz. its tricky but go to the advanced-ports menu and the first port "default" should be forwarded to your machine. Its the easiest way :)
