Windows XP explorer folder sidebar gone

go to system properties->advanced->performace (settings) check the option for common tasks in folders

Hmm. It doesn't appear to work.

Also, I'm having styler hide the explorer bar for explorer, but that's only the file, tools, view [et cetera.]

I unchecked it, applied it, then checked and applied it again, but it did nothing.

I'm using the areao4 vs, and I'm pretty sure it should have one.. [unless it was removed from the VS.. if that's possible]

I find it highly useful.

they're already enabled, if you said that the "common tasks" option is enabled. common tasks = shellstyle.
