Tech_Dude_5000 Posted December 8, 2006 Share Posted December 8, 2006 OK now..... If you tested Vista, perferbly RC1 you may notice and may have used the Program Compatibility Wizard. But shortly after that bulid, they removed it.. or did they? Turns out they never removed it, just made it harder to find. If you go in to Control pannel ( For this make sure your under the new Control pannel style NOT classic ) click Programs then click "use an older program to wrok with this verson of windows" you will have the wizard. Thanks for the post (Y) Guess they wanted it to appar in one of the major milestone bulids... but realy why have it on the desktop? where it could be in control pannel. I couldn't find a start menu short cut. any one that knows the quick search comands plese tell us...
