julzzw
Gates assination! Hmm...I was waiting for someone to say that! I searched "Vanishing Point" on wikipedia, and it comes up with stuff on perspective. "A vanishing point is a point in a perspective drawing to which parallel lines appear to converge." I dont know if that has something to do with it or not. Maybe its about looking at the puzzle in different perspectives? We need the guy from Numb3rs... julzzw
Just remember that not all stuff requires "special skill" to be solved, some can be solved by something that can be really simple True, the code could be just something to put us off. Whats a bit odd is that the code isnt included on the "http://www.vanishingpointgame.com/" website. Its only included in the IEBlog. Unless of course the idea is that you have to have visited the IEBlog first. julzzw
Hmm...what is weird is that if you type in any sting of numbers or letters or symbols, it doesnt give you the Incorrect Key message. I got a bit excited, cause i put in all the numbers in the code and it didnt give me the Incorrect Key message, but then nothing happened after that. It obviously must have to be a 15-bit key. EDIT: Maybe the digits have something to do with a Mobile Phone keypad. Like 3 can correspond to either D, E or F? Aeschylus Maximus
Searched Vanishing Point on wikipedia. is a point in a perspective drawing to which parallel lines appear to converge. The number and placement of the vanishing points determines which perspective technique is being used. * linear perspective is drawing with 1-3 vanishing points. * curvilinear perspective is drawing with 5 vanishing points mapped into a circle with 4 VPs at the cardinal headings N,W,S,E and one at the circle origin. * reverse perspective is drawing with vanishing points that are placed outside the painting with the illusion that they are "in front of" the painting. Vanishing points were first used by Renaissance artists such as Donatello and Masaccio. Vanishing points can also refer to the point in the distance where the two verges of a road appear to converge. This is often used to help assess the upcoming curves in the road; to judge the radius and therefore the entry speed and optimum line. If the vanishing point moves towards you or to your sides, the curve is tightening. If the vanishing point moves away from you or comes to centre, the curve is straightening. I would not the N,S,W,E part and remember the directions on the map maybe it leads to a drawing with the numbers being degrees and nwes being directions where to draw the lines. Also Googled rpf6 (start in small bits) any thing looks specific to Microsoft? XD maybe some hints in ther RPF6 is a motorized filter wheel, which has six different holders for filters of 1?". It has been designed to be driven directly fromViSTA,> the software that controls the cameras, but it is also supplied with a separated control program for allWindows >systems. There are two different connection systems: by means of RS232 or by means of the parallel port. It is possible to set the rotation speed and a different stop position for each filter. The motor hold current is user adjustable. This product can be customized, specifying different size, number of filters, input or output adapters. The typical applications are Photometry, Microscopy and colour sequences. Also RPF6 stands for Ribbon cable 6 fibre probably completely useless but maybe somebody will think of something also the model for that cable is FX200 apparently NCADA - national council on alcoholism and drug abuse Need Help?
