Doug Stockwell
Can I ask how the latest key was found please? use this grid with rot +13 00000000000000000000 01011000000111111110 11000000000000000000
Rob2687
Seems to short to be simply a slowed down bit of audio. More likely there's data encoded in there in some kinda format.

Wyco
I'd even dare guessing its a form of phone-dial-tone [?]

KGBrAm
use this grid with rot +13 00000000000000000000 01011000000111111110 11000000000000000000 Excellent! Thank you sir. Is that binary string one of the clues within the packages MS has sent out? (sorry just trying to organize my thoughts)
PricklyPoo
I sped it up using many different speeds but it doesnt really sound like anything...I also suspect there is data encoded in there somewhere, But I could be wrong....Maybe it is something to do with speeding it up
crimsonhead
I think it has something to do with 1234 because the actual name of the sound is http://vanishingpointgame.com/assets/sound.mp3 but it defaults to 1234.
Stetson
When you speed it up, the only thing I noticed is that the end sounds a bit like a heartbeat, but nothing else interesting. :(
DaveLegg Developer Posted December 25, 2006 Developer Share Posted December 25, 2006 Could it be morse code or something like that?
Rob2687
I'd even dare guessing its a form of phone-dial-tone [?] I was thinking the same thing. The last section you can hear 4 different tones

PricklyPoo
If it was morse code it would be NMA Ok I listened to it at 1.234 I defenitly think it is phone tones from someone dialing a number
well...
tried playing at 1.234 (i managed 1.233 in wmp) but sounds just as weird (but i dont know morse! ) but i agree it may be a phone dial tone you could work out the number using this: http://www.dsptutor.freeuk.com/dtmf/ToneGenerator.html got 2 go
Bei337
I think it has something to do with the wave graph instead of the sound. I don't know what it is tho. In Chinese, those are 4 letters in the graph, but they don't make sense.
simsie
If it helps i listened to it and could only hear 3 different sounds..... Short blips (one note), slightly longer blips (different note) and 2 long ones in the middle. The notes are consistant across the beeps (so all short blips have the same note). Well i think this is right. The formation i found was.. . _ . _ __ __ . . _ . _ . (hope that makes sense) Hope i help atleast someone

Ya in Nero wave editor I was looking at how high the sounds go in the graph and going over to the numbers to see If I could find anything...
