Bei337
That's been repeated a several times. But we need to solve more puzzles before the countdown hits zero, or we don't know what or where the vanishing point is.

Ace1and11
Theres got to be a reason why they changed from a cliche like "stars in the sky" to grains of sand on a beach it has to mean something. Other than how many times your name is repeated.

Btw. when calling that number and dial 0 after the voice, you will hear an announcement "announcement, no one is available to take your call, good bye." MiG-
wow... well i think the riddle is trying to say about infinite amounts of detail.. you cannot possibly count the grains of sand on a beach, nor is there a vanashing point, it just reaches infinity. any words that relate to infinity work ? KGBrAm
Some Fractals contain infinite detail. We have an image of a fractal on the Biography page. Nothing solid so far though :(
Aeschylus Maximus
My has to be italicised for a reason maybe its not meant as a possessive word but maybe some other keyword and it says that this is a riddle in itself.

taher
what about: "Your chance to be that person will start when the countdown hits zero".. maybe we need to decrypt the swf file of the countdown and see which url it opens when reaches zero? Decompiling the swf gets nowhere. You will find obfuscated actionscript, which submits your key to precodehandler.ashx.

Theres nothing like that in the source, and any company that knows what they're doing wouldn't put it in there. They'll have something running on the server side that changes the page for when it's loaded after the timer has expired.
taher
I wonder why when i change my time, the counter changes.. shouldn't it be server-sided clock?
DaveLegg Developer Posted December 25, 2006 Developer Share Posted December 25, 2006 I wonder why when i change my time, the counter changes.. shouldn't it be server-sided clock? There is a function on the server which it can call to get the time until the date using a web service, but it appears as if it's not using that at the moment.
