Accipitridae
I filled out the vanishingpoint.com fields (most of them) and left a comment. A popup came up that said, "Your message has been submitted." I'll keep an eye on my e-mail.
Rob Veteran Posted December 27, 2006 Author Veteran Share Posted December 27, 2006 To those that are commenting on the VanishingPoint.com site - I really don't think this has anything to do with this game, and is just a similarly titled website outside of the game. Accipitridae
That's my guess too, just thought I'd do it in case.
bitbonk
Cooincidence or not: There is an artist called Loki who sells its artwork on a DVD called "Vanishing Point": http://www.loki-graphis.com/ (Go to online shop there) Well maybe the guys at 42entertainment who came up with this game, just liked this graphics designer ... TheRA
Does anyone know the original music score playing. Does it matter that the number of candy wrappers on the table (4), Do the flower petals have any significance, while she is talking. I am going to save the video and play in VLC. You guys know VLC plays everything, even an .iso file as long as its got a video in it. Guys, There are a lot of other forums working on the SAME thing. Lets get it done first and be in Eternal Glory, lets show our community is has the best brains around the world. I have been watching this for a while and I am telling you WE are far faster and better than others.

Accipitridae
I know I've already asked, but like I said: I know next to nothing about video encoding. In the High-Res version an odd pixelation occurs at 00:34 seconds corresponding almost exactly to the word "timeless" This might be random video error, but it lines up suspiciously well and it's not the only time we've seen the word timeless pop up in the game. Does anyone have any ideas?
Rob2687
It's definitely not any random error or encoding issues. Looks like it was put in purposely.
Andrew-AD5UT
Random comment, but could it have something to do with the number 34 in the original code?
CrimsonRedMk Member Posted December 27, 2006 Member Share Posted December 27, 2006 About the 00:34 ^^ When you set the time to near the end of the countdown...doesn't the timer stop at 00:34? I might be wrong..I've been out of town and now I'm back in the game!

Accipitridae
The logo on her glasses is D&G it's a fairly common brand, I doubt it is significant in any way. In fact you can probably find the exact glasses she's wearing here: http://www.glassesonweb.com/catalog/D_a_G_abdg2/eyeglasses

AnTimOnY
What programs are there to analyze the sound in a sound or video file? like that person did for the sound file here, I want to do the same for the video (look at the vaweforms or w/e they're called) and see if there's anything. Anyone?
Zenit
OK, so 00:43 and "timeless" both seems to be important: try to find a synonym for "timeless" with an E (3) and an A (4) in it. that way it will look like the other keys.
Wyco
AnTimOnY: Adobe Premiere i'd recommend, but you'll need a rather powerful pc for that. OK, so 00:43 and "timeless" both seems to be important: try to find a synonym for "timeless" with an E (3) and an A (4) in it. that way it will look like the other keys. eternal, ageless, enduring, undying, everlasting, changeless, unchanging. Wyco
http://homepage.ntlworld.com/creamhackered/Loki.wmv Thnx, i'll check out its 'source' sometimes, probably this time tomorrow only... Tho' its rather problematice because videos only have frames. So I dont really think i can make much out of it unless you want me to save each frame as a JPG :) [and now i am sure that one of the watches is actually taken apart, check 00.00.41.08 -- actually at 00.00.42.08 you can see it again plus the screwdriver -- check the TIF below.] http://publictransport.hu/temp/00004208.tif Edited December 27, 2006 by Wyco

Have you noticed that there is again a pixeleration (maybe this time it really *is* random) at 1:38? But as this is a rather rapid camera movement, it might be an encoder issue this time. Edit: I am sorry, that's 00:58, not 1:38. I was looking that the wrong figure.
