Have you been smoking some of that special Christmas weed or drinking some hardcore egg nog?

Put their name all over Vista? Do you mean have their name inserted into the credits of Vista? A little too late for that isn't it? It doesn't make any sense anyway

Will be taking over Microsoft? You mean actually become the CEO of Microsoft? Yeah Microsoft is really going to pick someone at random to run the company.

lol i dont smoke and im allergic to egg! yeh i win ;D

naw i mean they find someone thats clever (yo would have to be clever to solve that puzzle) and they have a job for you ? and its not too late to get your name in vista, upgrades ?

and microsoft never make sence... hell i decided to reinstalled windows 98 memphis 2 days ago

"Their name will be repeated as many times as there are stars in?

No. Let?s be more precise. That name will be repeated as many times as there are grains of sand on a beach. That?s my promise. "

I dont think Vista is gonna sell that much.

That was your c:huh:

you just mentioned vista (proving my point), jus because you do not own it does not mean you do not say it. and it was my choice, how stupi:/:/ lol

Hmm,

Just a thought - where does it say the vanishing point is at zero, it always says when the countdown reaches the vanishing point - that does not need to be 0, it could be any time they have chosen, even later - we don't really know, the countdown may even stop at another point and asssist with the final clue as seen as numbers play a part in the clues.

Q: What is the VanishingPoint ?

Few thoughts on this vanishing point thing.

One of the sites mentions that this person will appear and then disappear (vanish) the point (vanishingpoint) is refering to a location.

What all of us are looking for is the location (could even be an online location) were this will take place.

The interesting thing is that we are all looking to find out what this riddle means / its purpose but we don't know what the prize is.

The people from 42entertainment certainly know how to do their marketing campaings. Since all of us will be waiting for the time to come.

I was just reading on digg.com approx 29 min ago that Microsoft were due to release a computer/os (modded Vista) that will support dual cursors i.e.

two people can have one mouse each on the same computer. This is thought of for educational purposes in the developing nations. They way they have

thought of this is that I is much cheaper to buy one desktop with two mice rather then 2 desktops. I am still thinking about how the hell they are

seeing this as a success...... Yes as a driving instructur it makes sense to have some control of the car but playing with mice on the screen can

proof to be disastorous.

But then again this could be the new US passports and Mircosoft will replace the image of the cat catching the invisible sandwish with an image of the

person that manages to solve this puzzel.

.?.?.?.

Q: What is the VanishingPoint ?

^Yeah ive been thinking about that for a while now.

From the Zenith Directory:

The vanishing point is the boundary between Something and Everything; between What Is and What Can Be. Fewer than a thousand people have ever been there to see the ultimate vista. The grand prize winner will be one of them.

The race for that destiny will begin when the countdown hits zero.

There are a few possible things that the "Vanishing Point" may be:

  • The "Vanishing Point" may after the countdown hits zero.
  • The "Vanishing Point" may also be when the countdown reaches zero.
  • The "Vanishing Point" may be when solve all of the riddles.

There are also a few things that the "Vanishing Point probably isnt:

  • The "Vanishing Point" isnt winning the grand prize because
The vanishing point is the boundary between Something and Everything; between What Is and What Can Be.
And I would say that "between What is and What Can Be" would mean Now and Winning the Grand Prize.

The race for that destiny will begin when the countdown hits zero.

This means that this doesnt finish when the countdown reaches zero but it continues. The winner wont recieve the grand prize once the countdown reaches zero.

This makes it seem like the vanishing point is when the countdown reaches zero because the point when the countdown reaches zero is the point of change.

Looking at the rotated pic the first thing I thought of was theory of relativity. The cone thing looks like a light cone. I've also seen differentials like that , but not cubic, in http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Special_relativity.

Maybe the vanishing point has something to do with light?

Does this mean anything?

So I learned Chinese and English and Latin and Greek. I learned that music was a kind of astronomy and that pure light was infinite but invisible.

maybe, if one were to travel at the speed of light weird things happen in the equations of relativity.

I don't know much about relativity, but from the equations, it would seem that something moving at the speed of light relative to a reference frame would have all "distance measurements" go to infinity from the point of view of the reference frame. Same for time measurements.

At the same time we can't actually visibly see light in any way, it's just energy and it's massless (i.e. takes up no "space").

I just noticed something...could be a slip up tho...the book "Herodutus" (or however you spell it) isn't on the bedside table at 00:32 but it is later on when she goes to sit down...could be a hint?

maybe there are more little details are put in and taken out before or after the camera focuses on them? just a thought...

Could be that's why the cameraman was in the video, they forgot to put the book there and he didn't get out of the picture in time after placing it?

...or if they're really smart, he was deliberately put there hoping we would freeze frame it and draw attention to the fact that the book wasnt there...but thats a long shot.
