giga Veteran Posted January 4, 2007 Veteran Share Posted January 4, 2007 What tv do you have? If you have an atsc tuner you can just get it through antenna. BroChaos Veteran Posted January 4, 2007 Veteran Share Posted January 4, 2007 yeah, OTA is the easiest way...and it will be better than satellite or cable. Link to comment https://www.neowin.net/forum/topic/526832-bcs-championships/#findComment-588191837 Share on other sites
jerzdawg
How do you figure? because both cable and sat have to be compressed in order to transmit through the network... OTA does not have to be compressed in anyway... Direct TV is the biggest offender Link to comment https://www.neowin.net/forum/topic/526832-bcs-championships/#findComment-588193107 Share on other sites
Jeremy1
Direct TV is the biggest offender DirecTV (not Direct TV!) does not rape the MPEG4 locals like they do the MPEG2 HD channels. The difference between OTA and the MPEG4 locals is quite minimal. I can only notice a difference if I'm very close to the screen, and actively looking for it. If I'm at a normal viewing distance and just watching TV, there is no difference at all.
