Aeschylus Maximus
Just a hint, when you go to the collectionplate page the name of the stylesheet is "meta.css"My .02 Nothing really interesting.... That would make sense because this relates to the meta puzzle and they're not gonna call it sheet1.css or something cause they would get confused between all of th e other ones EDIT sry for double post didnt refresh

konamouse
Ya i was trying to point that out and see any reasoning in having wrapped and unwrapped ones 4 and 2. 4 wrappers and 2 unopened. 42. Inside joke. (they were amazed that the chocolate manufacturer was discovered). The only mistake in the pregame video is the sound guy and the extension cord (according to the Puzzle Masters). And those ARE D&G glasses, the light played some tricks on us but the D&G on the frame did NOT disappear & reappear, it was always there. So, the rest has meaning. The folder on the table with the Bellagio Fountain picture & the map (the first real-world clues). The pocket watches = Time (first box). The magicians outfit = Magic (second box). The 5 points on the Bird of Paradise flower? The 0s on the artwork? The book at the bedside and the one she was reading? Oh, if you didn't read it on uF, the house in the Ignition video? That is the headquarters of EDOC Laundry (the clothing company started by some of the guys from 42Entertainment).

godwi014
The book Loki is reading in the challenge video is The History of the Decline and Fall of the Roman Empire Vol. 2. thequestor
Is anyone currently working / thinking about the banded Loki image?http://vanishingpointgame.com/images/loki.jpg Do we know a purpose for its existence? If not, any ideas on the banding? while not certain, I have run that image through a few tests and I found a couple of things odd. 1: it is completly stripped of any meta data, there is no "created with" "creation date", anything lol. 2: This apears to be 1/2 of the image. I say that because it apears to be a snapshot of an interlaced feed. When you take a capture of a frame of an interlaced video it sometimes looks like that. Also I would compare it again next week after the next box is opened, maybe it has to do with "Loki Vanishing". I don't know, but I can find no "hidden" information using any available stenography tools, so I think that is a dead end too. While I am pretty certain it is there for a reason, I just don't see that reason being there yet.

tgeairn
Man it hurts my eyes. Well, nothing of real use yet. I've done nothing other than convince myself that there is more to this picture than meets the eye. Anyone else had any luck yet? There is exactly zero chance that this image was accidentally left on the server or something, so without a valid non-game reason, I am assuming it has an in-game purpose. For those interested, the picture (http://vanishingpointgame.com/images/loki.jpg) appears to be a crop of the "hearthechallenge" video, taken at 00:29.87. This is the portion of that video where the dodo bird and the artwork with the "Oo"s is on Loki's right. She just finished saying "right" and (of course) has her glasses pulled down. cglrcng
Hmm, I don't agree with you on this one. The folks from unfiction found them way early before thegame started. They are made by a company called Monbana in France: http://www.monbana.com/en/accueil.php Here is a pic of one of the flavors ... 1. They are absolutely Monbana Chocolates. (Compare at this site, then notice the changing flash of the "Vanishing/Dissappearing Can" of Chocolate powder...Turning into a "GOLDEN" Unicorn). I called out that here and on unFiction that I thought "the word" based on the Loreley poem edits was GOLD or golden last week. I still think so. Could be as simple a question as her asking what the Vanishing can chocolate powder turned into...Answer, A GOLD or Golden Unicorn. The 5 chocolates are not put there by accident, nor is the flash on the right of that website. According to the Flash source code, there will be a revisit after 15 days to the site to change the content. One more thing...You must register in order to even be considered to place an order...They only ship to Europe, and it seems every country is listed on the reg form EXCEPT the US. Even without a country entered it said I would receive an e-mail soon upon completion of registration. http://www.monbana.com/en/accueil.php Watch the background, look at the placement of the magicians cane/wand, and they point out it is in her right hand. Both chairs are stage marked on the "X's" on the floor. Her shoes are still black, but a different pr. than the very pointed high heeled stilleto boots she wore in the challenge vid. They are much more rounded at the toes. phxmimms
About the chocolates... On January 21st - 23rd, there is a large "Fancy Food" tradeshow in San Francisco. Monbana has a booth there (Booth 3745). That's the same weekend as the Vanishing Point live event in San Francisco. cglrcng
Also I noticed she's wearing a necklace in the second video that wasn't there in the first video.. I saw that too.... Is Loki's story really Bill Gates story....With the Launch of Vista he is gone from Microsoft Corp.? While we all know he's stepping down from the head leadership position at MS. He stated in the Keynote that he was asked how long he'll keep doing it....He responded something like, "...as long as THEY'LL LET ME, though you may hear more about infectious diseases than technology next year...." (not an exact quote mind you)...Does he believe this is his last hurrah w/ MS...is it really his story? Is it his explanation to the world. "Time Passes....Magic Happens.....Memories Fade......People Disappear" The Keynote, The "WOW Project", "Longhorn, the last Bill Gates driven project culminating in the "Ultimate Vista" and the awarding of a trip to the "Ultimate Vista for 1 lucky soul"...The peak of his career. The Buffet and Bill Gates / Microsoft fortunes to give away...The right choice...To actually help mankind afterall...If so, well done Uncle Bill. Now the question...'Is this really a search for some of the smartest people or communities on the planet to actually help in the next mission?'
