vidiot
A serious note. I think the overlay in the interlaced Loki picture of Puzzle Box 1 shows an aerial view of Loki's Vanishing Point. I'm guessing a tropical atoll as 005-Atoll. Can we find it from the shape alone? Try Google Earth, there are many atolls near Bora Bora for a start. Tha14thSpade
Looking at the next group of locations for "real world" events, the times and a hunch, you can bet that the clues will be revealed in fireworks. Why? Earth- That is the one to figure out. And...The five gross elements are: space, air, fire, water, and earth. I have a strong feeling this plays a role in solving the game. [/b] Earth.. Treep
Taking a clue from an earlier post, I did a quick search on the Aurora Borealis. I found this: http://virtual.finland.fi/finfo/English/aurora_borealis.html I then searched on the Finnish word "revontulet" from paragraph 2 and found this: http://www.arcticacademy.fi/revontulet.php?kieli=fi Paragraph 4 seems interesting. Will continue my searching, but thought I'd throw it out the forum. Any ideas? tgeairn
Going back to the videos, there is something troubling me. Please let me know if this is just something I don't understand about Windows Movie Maker though. If you open Windows Movie Maker and do File->Import Into Collections for each video, the collection automatically splits at various places. There is no obvious reason for the splits, other than that some tie to clues we've already seen/used. Some hint at things we've been chasing, but this may be confirmation that there is something there. hearthechallenge: 0:00.00-0:17.00 Ends with shot of doorhandle 0:17.00-0:18.47 Ends with her zipping stilleto boot 0:18.47-0:32.50 Ends with shot of room service cart (flowers, 2 candies, one placesetting, silver tray) 0:32.50-0:37.57 Ends with picture of Belagio fountain 0:37.57-0:39.73 Ends with her looking down, saying "rediculously hard" 0:39.73-1:13.63 Ends with four empty wrappers on nightstand 1:13.63-1:19.37 Ends with open book, family tree? visible on left page 1:19.37-1:38.10 End time_0108_720: 0:00.00-0:04.97 Opening splashes of fountain 0:04.97-0:08.57 Single chime of fountain 0:08.57-0:16.57 Two chimes / "It's Time" 0:16.57-0:24.57 "Listen Carefully, I don't have very long. ZuniTribal
re the X's on the floor. There are a lot of people that ascribe to the alternate universe theory. A fair number of people who claim to experience this phenomena will have instances where things vanish and then sometimes reappear at a later date. It's possible that the X's on the floor for her chair where she is sitting is a reference to this to clue in people that she will vanish at some point. People mark the area with X's where the phenomena occurs. Possibly thats why her chair sits on the X's. [/b] I'm sure it's already been said, but the locations for the third set of puzzles isn't exactly conducive to a firework display, however, the Seattle location is perfect. In fact, Gasworks Park is a popular place from which people view the Fourth of July fireworks. Given that there's also a concert happening there, I'm pretty sure that this is where the firework display will happen.
