Fourjays Veteran Posted January 23, 2007 Veteran Share Posted January 23, 2007 Last time I tried this, I found it rather daft that it needs to be installed. You are only going to run it once or twice. Would be better as just an exe file.

strekship
As I had expected  I think they did that because x64 is not a supported upgrade path.
Denis W. Veteran Posted January 24, 2007 Veteran Share Posted January 24, 2007 Gosh .. the test review shows my CanoScan LiDE 30/N1240U will have some problems ... I have a LiDE 20 and got it to work in Vista with XP drivers. The only downside is everytime the TWAIN driver is invoked, the scanner warms back up each time. (The upgrade advisor also points out this scanner as incompatible with Vista.)
J400uk
I keep trying to run this scanner yet every time comes up with an error about web server busy. Annoying the hell out of me, does anyone have any ideas why it isnt working?
