Dark2020 Posted December 4, 2002 Share Posted December 4, 2002 :alien: I have two OS's in my PC : Windows XP with the service pack installed the other is windows 2000 with SP3 installed The Problem: :o In Windows XP : sometimes the internet hangs :o especially after 2 hours :o it stays connected and doesn't recieve any info i have an external modem and when i hit refresh i can see it is sending data but it doesn't recieve any :o at first I thought maybe it was a problem with the ISP but then i tried Windows 2000 and the internet has never hanged on me here i can stay connected upto 8 hours or so. Chrysalis Posted December 4, 2002 Share Posted December 4, 2002 I had this problem before and it turned out to be zone alarm I have no idea if you are running this, but if you are you may try unintsalling it and see if this fixes the issue.
