Once I start playing a game I don't notice it at all (same goes for movies or anything else). Not a big deal. My 360 is stupid loud once that drive gets going. DrCheese Posted February 8, 2007 Share Posted February 8, 2007 It's a shame we can't just buy these from MS and install ourselves, tho of course its never going to happen because it would screw up warranty. I'm not massively bothered(my system is oct06 so its already fairly quiet) But considering I spent so much effort making my PC as quiet as it could be, it is a tad annoying to have horrible noise during quiet scenes in games/dvd and a pain to have to always have my tv up loud enough to drown out the noise hah. Xbox 360 has a universal AV port for a reason. When/if HDMI comes out, all you would need is the cable.
