FrozenBacon Posted February 15, 2007 Share Posted February 15, 2007 Vista is good, the drivers on the other hand, suck donkey balls.I HATE the new control center with a passion, it gives you no functionality whatsoever !!!! when i get my new 21" Widescreen next week i want the best performance i can get hold of, and that aint no where in vista at the minute.. Seriously, you cant even flip the display horizontal, you cant do anything related to using 720p/1080p, there is nothing.. I cant get AA/AF to work, my games stutter randomly, these drivers are bollocks. and creative ? JESUS, their XP drivers i thought wer a little crap, in Vista its just a mass explosion of stuttering bull****! I seriously hate the new control panel as well. At least in XP they gave you an option to use the old one, now we are forced to use this stupid POS. I dont even see how they even think of it as an improvement, the layout is just downright horrible, and like you said it has less functionality. I have to install a 3rd party program just so I can force a refresh rate! I hope in the final version they bring back the old control panel. This new one is just stupid. But yea, other than the stupid control panel, I am not having any problems with the drivers. Only problem I had before was DVD video not playing correctly after I pause or stop it and this release fixed that. Also they do seem to be a bit faster, but I cant be sure because I dont look at my fps while Im playing games. drumthrasher109 Posted February 15, 2007 Share Posted February 15, 2007 max i can play/view anything is 1280x1024, so idk if thats why my performance is better than through xp. but ya i think these are great! note: will forceware for vista have the little task bar icon? and will it have the old classic menu where u go to display settings>advanced and it would pop up on the side? If you ask me...what's worse Vista GUI or Nvidia Control Panel, i'd say Vista GUI :D I guess we have to live with both.
