Isn't BitTorrent associated with a big movie studio? Isn't that big movie studio associated with the MPAA? Just asking questions here, but the transitive property dictates that if all those conditions are met, then ?Torrent is associated with the MPAA. The whole reason Bittorrent inc. bought ?Torrent was exactly because it's small and efficient and is a whole lot less clunky than their FOSS example client. You could argue that there is an indirect relationship, but as some of the more grounded people in this thread have argued there isn't anything to worry about *yet* with uTorrent, and Brahm isn't stupid. He knows as soon as he adds any sort of "call home" feature, someone will find it (firewall/packet monitoring) and it will be posted all over the web before you can say RIAA.
