VB to IPB Database conversion

Ok, right ive tried everything i can think of using the IPB converter to get my VB database to convert onto my IPB install, and it wont work, ive tried adding a database password and nothing, but usually i do not use a database password and most are set up that way, however the converter seems to not want to continue without a password for the database, and there is none!

The error i get when not entering a password is:

The following error occured:

You must ensure that all the fields are completed fully - hb_sql_pass

Someone please help! Its really annoying me now!

Unless there are any other ways of converting my VB database to an IPB Database?

you dont have a password set for your database user? that's kind of asking for problems

Setup a password on the account and run it again

When i add a password to the database, i suddenly get these errors on the following page:
