Kreuger
Thanks for the news, gotta wait for repo updates now although to be honest I dont use Wine much anymore. It's easier to just use a VM Link to comment https://www.neowin.net/forum/topic/546818-wine-0933/#findComment-588402077 Share on other sites

Mathiasdm
According to the Wine database, it works, but with problems. In Wine 0.9.29, single player only worked for some people. Then again, there've been LOTS of DirectX improvements, so just give it a try and you might be in luck! bibutteryboy
so...you use Linux so you don't have to use Windows software then run Wine to run Windows software.....is that right? Neil
so...you use Linux so you don't have to use Windows software then run Wine to run Windows software.....is that right? In a nut shell yes, I use Crossover on the Mac to run Steam and Microsoft Access 2000, which I will soon to use any more. But whine means we can use any software we want on any Linux OS or Mac, plus we dont have worry about the sercruity problems or instability. Mathiasdm
so...you use Linux so you don't have to use Windows software then run Wine to run Windows software.....is that right? No, people use Linux because they like/prefer it. However, some people need Windows-only software, so use Wine.
