Arbiter Posted May 18, 2007 Share Posted May 18, 2007 (edited) It stinks that Detroit lost last night as a Wings fan, but in a larger sense, this feels like an epic series, and I think it could be great for the sport if the series goes 7 games. I think the Pronger suspension was justified, but I don't think it was cut and dry. The best case scenario would be a 4-2 (6 game) finish and the chances are fairly high that it will go to a deciding 7th game. The two western teams may be so glad they survived the conference final that they may not have enough gas to defeat Ottawa. The only pleasure I take in Ottawa winning is that it's a knife in the back of Leafs fans. It seems in this series that the Ducks have the ability to completely control the game, but are having some off nights. I suppose that kind of takes credit away from detroit, who have been doing a good job as well. Either way I am hoping for Anaheim to take it. Ottawa is a good enough team, and I wouldn't be ****ed if they won, but I am cheering for Anaheim.
