kars85
I deleted the recovery partition off my Dell. Can I add the 10GB of unallocated space to my main partition without losing data with a program like Partition Magic?

kars85
do any of you know of a Vista compatible program that will do the trick? Supposedly Vista has a partition utility built-in, and partition magic has horrendous vista issues. you rock...thanks
[deXter]
GParted is a free program that you can use to manage partitions. It's updated regularly and yes, it supports partitions made by Vista. You can download the LiveCD and boot off it to do all your partitioning. It's just 50 MB.
kars85
i may not be doing something right, but when i tried i nearly corrupted my HD. all it would do is loop the BIOS screen. luckily my Vista install disk repaired the issue. i see the GUI you're talking about, but i can't seem to "add on" that 10GB of unallocated space to my primary partition!
