+theblazingangel MVC Posted May 30, 2007 Author MVC Share Posted May 30, 2007 damn it, just lost at least 1.5 hours worth of uploading, i was trying to make sure our family pc was up to date but i couldn't establish an internet connection, i checked out my router settings and found the last time i was there i limited the number of DHCP addresses, my laptop is currently using a wired connection because it's more stable when transferring large amounts of data, and it was now occupying the only available address. i changed the setting in the router hoping it would not affect the upload but it caused my laptop to reconnect, i was assuming that my ftp software would allow me to resume the upload but no, it won't, it's started that file all over again nd it was one of the large core releases as well :( damn ftp software, why can't there be a pause button, or better resume support or something...
