Someone dropped a pin, I can't concentrate with all this noise!

Very well put - I don't want to know how many times I've pressed F5 today! Azureus standing by... :D

Hmm. This is rather apt.

A quick search on F5 comes up with this:

  • F5 is the global leader in Application Delivery Networking
F5 makes applications secure, fast, and available...

However, a warning note from Microsoft when you search on "F5 Key"

  • F5 Key Does Not Build and Run Application in One Step...

alright, please hold on, i was up till 6am last night and over slept today.

all the releases are up, i just have to investigate a possible problem with one of the releases reported by gandolas who sneakily took a copy from the upload mirror :p but if he found a bug then it's a good thing he did :)

once i've looked into that and corrected the issue if there is one, i'll inform all the other mirrors. once they've got a copy we'll go public!

Happy puppy pees the notebook!

I'm just delirious with joy and happiness that today we'll get the New and Improved 5.6 release.... wait... I just pee'd myself.... better change and clean up around here.....

Thanks AP TEAM

problem found and fixed, i'm re-uploading the addon packs, estimate about 1.5 hours.

in the mean time i'll try and get the core release spread to other mirrors

the problem:

damn macros and relative jumps. the NSIS scripting language could be considered fairly primitive because for run-time if/else/endif's you must use a define like so: ${If} $var = 1, the ${If} define seems to insert a insertmacro command. if you stick something like IfSilent 0 +6 in front of an ${If}, because ${If} gets replaced with a macro, the +6 relative jump will actually jump into the macro code and do god knows what (in this case some how jumped all the way back to the eula page and got stuck there (no moving forward/back or quiting the installer)).

solution: jump using a label instead.

it's extremely easy to forget that in NSIS ${If} inserts macro.

Just to clarify, does this mean the core release will not be available for at least another 1.5 hours or is it only the addons that will suffer this delay?

Edit: will the torrent be seeded soon, is what I'm basically asking :)

DAMN IT... sorry, extremely stressed right now

the new addon packs will be uploaded to the primary mirror in about 1.5 hours max

i need to contact the other mirrors now and get them to copy the core releases, i'll contact them again so they can copy the addon packs when the addon packs are done

m2ys4u seems to already have the torrents up, i wish he hadn't, i'm not ready yet, i think gandolas contacted him for me before i had even woke up, he needs to delete the addon packs he's got and get a new copy when there done.

i guess he can start seeding the core releases if he wants...

for http mirrors you'll need to wait until i've contacted the other mirrors and they've got a copy

ARGH DAMN IM STRESSED HERE...

========================

since people may be jumping the gun, i better post the hashes for the new releases (note, these are for the fixed copies of the addon packs)

m2ys4u/anyone -- can you post the links for the core release torrent files?

(and let us know what the links will be for the others, once fixed and re-created)

Thanks :)

Update:

Torrent files linked from m2ys4u's page:

in case I'm not the only one who didn't realise!

My contribution to the fray.....

* turns off Azureus throttling on his new shiney 1 mbit uplink *

On this occasion feel free to use the entire upload bandwidth (at least for a day or something, or till there's a load more seeds out there)... it'll be the first time I've let it max out since it was installed last week :)

** IMPORTANT **

i forgot to say, gandolas's vista and x64 releases are incompatible with each other and with all of my releases. this will hopefully be corrected next month!

This is very correct. Due to this same reason, the Office Security and Add-on Packs will not be ready until next month's release of AP.
