GrandMaster Posted May 3, 2007 Share Posted May 3, 2007 Every once in a while, while searching on google, the layout changes from the regular search bar on the top and results on the bottom to a more "stylized" version. Ill provide a screenshot of what I mean, perhaps somebody could shed some light on this for me. Now, if i paste the same URL into an IE window, or even a new tab, google looks normal. (http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q=site%3Aen.wikipedia.org+tech+n9ne&btnG=Search). This happens not only when i am searching a site with the site:xxxxxxx format, but even when i just search for normal images. This is not a greasemonkey script, etc.. just a random thing thats been happening for a couple of months now. oh and, please move this to the appropriate forum subsection. *John* Posted May 3, 2007 Share Posted May 3, 2007 I've had this loads of times. Its their way of changing their layout if I remember correctly. They will increase the incidence of this happening slowly until eventually it happens for all your searches. Its better that way, as it allows people to slowly adjust. They cant very well change the layout of Google overnight after all.
