rageagainstmachine
for some reason, about a week or two ago, my bookmarks started acting weird. problems all happened at the same time: - Tool bar bookmarks are tiny now, and no longer display what the bookmark is for. only a little icon of each webby is displayed, but its really difficuilt to determine which tool bar link is for what! - the bookmarks in the bookmarks drop down menu, have a similar issue, i.e only icons, and no hint as to what they are for. - when i add new bookmarks, its different from how i sued to do it. well, very similar, but not!! in the pic, i now can only add bookmarks in the bottom two "bookmarks toolbar folder" and "bookmarks" options. if i try the top two it does nothing, and the window stays open. but i can add them in the bottom, but again, the window stays open. any ideas? thanks Link to comment https://www.neowin.net/forum/topic/559643-bookmarks-weird-issues/ Share on other sites
keithy397
First thoughts: Open the bookmarks in the sidebar (or Bookmarks Manager) and ensure you have true tree heirarchy. You can move the folders around with drag and drop. If you don't have the Main Bookmark Folder at the top, all kinds of weird things can happen including dancing bookmarks! If that doesn't work post back with Firefox build id and an idea of what extensions you have.
