Sending an Email "In the Past"

Recommended Posts

OK... I was supposed to email something early this morning... and I kinda forgot. How can I make the time signature (for sending) appear that it occured this morning?... so that the person I'm sending this to thinks I sent it on time, and it was just "stuck" in a server somewhere?

I just tried it twice.

One to myself @ my pop3 account and one to my sister's AOL

I changed my system time to 1PM

Her's had the time recieved but when she checked the detals it said 1PM

Mine said 1PM right in the header ;)

/Edit: using outlook express

Not too much you can do beyond the Outlook... With Hotmail, I think you can change your regional time to something like, GMT and such. Its enough to displace your actual sending time by a day. But yeah, nothing you can do with the timestamps in the header. Just hope your contact doesn't have everything set on "Advanced View" and read it too closely...
