Depending what year they say it is, it could make even more sense for them to make season 3 to promote the movie. Ever ything Begins again as John now will take this lead in the future. I think that is the way to go, if all episodes of season 2 were like that then they would have 7 new seasons! Budious Posted April 11, 2009 Share Posted April 11, 2009 (edited) Got to catch the last 25 minutes (bad weather in Atlanta preempted broadcast with weather news) so guess I'll look for a torrent. The ending was definitely strange, but I was half expecting a timeline twist to bring Derick back since his departure was so sudden and out of place, didn't seem a fitting ending to him at the time. I hope they get a third season to work out this new angle of the show but hope they won't abuse the time travel angle too often. I think if there's a season three Sarah will probably have died from cancer. I think they're moving away from Sarah Connor Chronicles, to John Connor.
