The graphics are not so good... I though they was using a new engine...

It's using the Legend's engine (tweaked). I do not like it on the PC. Playing on the keyboard is rough for me. I'll like it much better when I get it on the PS2. :)

Just finished downloading the demo, the installer was a little strange though (using Vista). I have to say it is one of the very few games I've tried that runs really well [maxed out] in Vista on my computer  plus from the quick romp I had in it (I play it a bit more later) I thought it was quite good (I really enjoyed Legend as well) and definitely will be picking this up for the PC :) (Y)

EDIT: Since it is a "Games for Windows" branded game, does anyone know if it will feature achievements? (cause that would rock) or is that only a feature of Games for Windows - Live titles?

Nope the game will not have achivments, the first games for windows that do are Halo 2 and Shadow Run

Thx :) oh well :( would of been nice but no biggy. Still gonna get the game regardless :) (After messing with the game a bit longer, it doesn't run as smooth as I originally claimed. It has some frame rate issues in Vista, however, it is only a minor thing)

It runs pritty well for me in Vista, it puts CS Source to shame. It has the occasional slow down on my 6800 and on my laptops X700 but over all it runs better than most over games i have played in Vista, things can only improve as the drivers get better too :D

Out of curiousity, how many fps do you get on your X700? And at what resolution?

Just tried it, game runs extremely well on my system. It looks nice and I really enjoyed it. :D

I'm really really considering picking this one up. (Y)

I run the game at 1280x800 with 2x aa on high detail, not sure how to check the FPS but it seams really smooth 99% of the time to me :D

Love this demo, Friday can't come soon enough now after trying this :)

Playing with everything maxed at 1920x1200 with AAx2, as per InsaneNutter I am not sure how to test the frame rate, but had no issues with it thus far.

Not sure if this is spoiler or not, but damn, I loved the part with the T-Rex, pity the demo had to end there, as I still had a third cog to find, or have I missed it?

You can't get it on the demo. It's beyond the T-Rex. ;)

Use Fraps to check your frame rate.

Ya I was totally pumped and ready to take that sucker down

I didn't have any framerate issues, per se, but there were a few times when animations seemed jilted, or the camera seemed to jump.

It was more an animation thing than a framerate, thing tho. Like when climbing up

towards where you place the second cog

This is The Lost Valley from Tomb Raider 1. The same level which the demo is on. Thought it would be cool to compare, esp. those that never had the chance to play such a wonderful game back in 1996. Enjoy! :)

Am I right in thinking this isn't coming out for the original XBox like Legend did? If so I'm a bit gutted. Means I might have to borrow my sisters PS2 to play it. It certainly looks much better than Legend. Legend was great, they sorted out the controls and graphics engine, but the game was far too short, and many of the levels were terrible. Not to mention the puzzles were rather linear. Hopefully this will be much better. :D
