I know what you mean though, but that is just because they are one of the largest supported teams in the world.

I usually just watch the games through Sopcast, or on Sky if they're on. Not got Setanta.

i can't live without setanta, especially over here in canada where you don't get sky.

and ronaldo needs to stop scoring (Even though i love him and if man u win on the week-end i have to wear his man u jersey...)

I want torres to win the scoring title, though second to ronaldo in his first year in the EPL would be nothing to complain about...

Spurs vs Pompey today. Bloody league have said Defoe can't play even though Pompey fully own him. It all stems from a stupid rule of loan signing becoming permanent etc etc.

At least we have Kanu and Baros. No doubt baros will get us penelty.

It wasn't so bad for pompey. We lacked a bit of bite, Spurs could only pass it around us most of the time. We seem to do a good job at moving the ball through the midfield quick for the attack, but it doesn't last long enough.

Thank god there was nothing wrong in terms of fouls etc etc. The ref would have gotten them well wrong. Considering this match was pretty much fully legal, his decision was just odd.

He gives a foul against Hidy while Berby was backing in to him(berby was clearing looking for it)

Then later on he gives a foul against spurs, when kanu lept over the spurs player shoulder for a header.

I missed defoe, and wished Utaka came off early so baros could come on.

1- Benayoun is alot more defensive than Babel anyway, and it would of altered the play with him on.

2- Torres was on a yellow, why risk him doing a Mascherano and getting sent off? He obviously wasnt working right, as he hardly did any threatening moves and clearly the defence was all over him.

3- Crouch wouldn't of been able to help at all.

To be honest, everything nowadays NEEDS TO BE INSTANT, win in your first season etc, and you're kept,

Ferguson won after SEVEN years the title, so whats wrong with a bit of patience, yes everyone gets ****ed off and annoyed at their team not winning etc, and yeah i was so ****ed off with todays performance, especially after winning alot of games in a row and beating Inter Milan, but its the fact that i think Kuyt instead of Crouch should have starred but oh well.

There is nothing wrong with Benitez as manager, and clearly the rules need sorting out, it is CLEAR to the eye Mascherano is saying "whats happening, whats going on" which is fair, but to get a yellow for that when all the ref has to do is explain it, i can't see why referees dont try communicating other than saying "go away go away go away" repeatedly, it works both ways, they want respect, but won't respect a player.

Benayoun is defensive, that's genious, liverpool brings in a guy when they are down a goal and with ten men and then bring in a defensive guy. How is babel higher quality then pennant monk? explain this to me? does no one remember the perfect example that was the first inter game against liverpool in the eufa what happened as soon as crouch and pennant came on? they scored two goals right away and PENNANT, not babel, set up the first one for kuyt.

at the time before the 2nd goal we were all over them so why bring on another attacking player when we were doing just fine,the last thing we wanted was to concede another, and when it did, why would you bring on an attacker, damage limitation is the next step in my books

Steve Bennett is an idiot. Mascherano yes overreacted, but the referee was so shambolic that I am not surprised. The Man Utd players made far worse fouls than Mascherano did and never got booked. In one case, Ryan Giggs fell into Mascherano and pushed him to the floor and the free kick was awarded to Man Utd. WTF! Andy Gray got it stop on IMO over the whole Mascherano situation.

Kuyt did well today. You have to look at the options, who else are you going to play in his place? Pennant? I rate Pennant, but this game was not for him today, we needed someone who could track back and help contain Man Utd. As for Babel, he is a good player and one for the future. Arbeloa single handedly contained Messi last season in the Champions League, and Steve Finnan (the alternative) was injured.

Anyway, you where not arguing with the team selection when we won those seven games in a row (and we played more or less the same team as today).

Well Torres was subbed because he had picked up a knock, that is a fact so you can't really moan about that. The reason Crouch is not playing as much is because he does not really fit into the whole (successful) 4-2-3-1 system when you need a bit of pace and not a target man up front. I love Crouch and Pennant like you do, but you have to choose the players who will achieve the best results. I'd like to see Pennant play a little bit more in place of Kuyt though.

At the end of the day though, it was a **** poor performance all around. I hate nothing more than to lose against the Mancs (and I really wanted to beat them today to dent their title hopes), but today was just not our day. Hopefully, we can get our season back on track against Everton next week.

I think (from a West Ham fans POV) that Rafa should stay he has done wonders for Liverpool and who knows you might win another CL this year because all his heart will be going into that now, unless you want a riot at Anfield Rafa should stay.

Tell you the truth I was shocked about the liverpool match. I would be ashamed if I were a Liverpool player.

No matter what you have to give the ref respect, at the end of the day the people watching can make there own minds up. Giving the ref grief all the time is doing your team no good. Liverpool lost themselves. As for Mascherano getting sent off. It is hard to say why he got the yellow to be sent off. I can only assume the ref was not going to accept being spoken to like he was and the harassment he felt he sufferd. It's the league and refs authority to deal with these matters, not the players.

As for Man Utd, pretty sweet win and some good goals.
