You took it the wrong way. You took it for quality rather then quantity.

They also have dong and Saha, but I wouldn't say they are reliable. I've heard Saha is a pain, he doesn't wish to push himself after injury. I'm sure Ole will sort him out.

Most teams have more then 2 strikers, so they can rotate and cover for injury. It would be a bummer for Man Utd if they lost Tevez and Rooney at the same time.

A survey of English football fans revealed what Reds supporters have known all along - Anfield has the best atmosphere in Europe.

The poll, conducted by property consultants Drivers Jonas Sport, ranked Liverpool's famous stadium ahead of the likes of Real Madrid's Bernabeu and Barcelona's Nou Camp, which was the highest-placed side from mainland Europe in fifth place.

Celtic's Parkhead came second while Portsmouth's Fratton Park was a surprise third.

Fratton park should be higher! On a more serious note we only house about 20k. So we have less people :p Heck we sing when we lose! I remember once we were cheering on arsenal when losing.

I can't make it much to pompey games :(

But it's great that we are Third.

7-4 what a game, if that is not first on MOTD tonight I will cry ! Knowing the BBC though they will probably put Chavski on first.

Liverpool won today, although if I am honest we again never played well and Wigan probably could of felt a little hard done by. Still...3 points is 3 points.

I heard something about some 'Pool fans getting into the wigan section. Is that true?

Yes, the game was marred by crowd disturbances. Nonetheless, we got the all important 3 points. It's a big confidence booster for the lads. Yossi Benayoun is proving to be an excellent pickup just like I predicted. C'MON REDS!

I heard something about some 'Pool fans getting into the wigan section. Is that true?

Yeah it is. Some Reds sneaked into the home support and started jumping around and celebrating when Liverpool scored. Needless to say the Wigan fans where not to pleased ;)

Anfield the ground with the best atmosphere?

Might have believed that if the survey hadn't been conducted by the commercial property consultants appointed to value Anfield.

Pure coincidence I'm sure.

Bitter blue or Manc scum? Every neutral fan I know says the atmosphere at Anfield is magical, the same can be said for the atmosphere at Fratton Park.

Pompey beat Fulham with 2-0

Played against last season tough sides e.g. Man Utd, Arsenal, Liverpool, Chelsea, Bolton and Blackburn. We're fifth place!

Now thats shows how pompey have come on in the past few years, thats pretty good if you ask me.

...and it's the Derby tomorrow :D!

and I can't believe the FA chose clattenburg to officiate it (I thought after his performance at Ninian park last year, he should be banned from refeering lol - and proved my point again yesterday).
