I mean splash screens, wallpapers, boot screens, themes, and everything of the sort. We've got a place to store them, http://www.shiftlinux.net/art. What we'd like to do, though, is have a big ol' fashioned competition (via some Photoshop, XML, and PHP) to choose what art will be in the final distro. How will we do it, and how can you participate? You submit your art to the Shift Linux Art Site/Customization Center by August 20, 2007 On August 21, at 12:00 am GMT, we will take all submissions and put them into a contest at http://www.shiftlinux.net/art/contest You will go to that website and choose your favorite piece of art, besides your own, in every category. On August 30, we will take the most popular art and put it into the distro Sound like a plan? Well then shift your ass into gear and get on it! Start making wallpapers, themes, icons, everything you can think of! You've got 15 days to make the best looking stuff you ever imagined.
