[Official] Doctor Who Thread

I'm confused. Why is

John Hurt

involved?

Where is Trensalor?

Trensalor will probably be answered in next weeks finale and

John Hurt is a guest star but the way he is dressed suggests he is a mix between Mcgann and Eccleston

I think it is kind of obvious - the how we will find out his real name- There must be a grave yard of the Time-Lords and this is where the Doctor will eventually get buried. The one reason I think a TIme Lord (much less The Doctor) must never go there is that it would show their date of Demise. Which would also explain why the TARDIS won't take The Doctor there.

And it will also show his name-- which would explain -- why he asked him "WHAT IS YOUR NAME?" as being an undertaker.

Great episode and loved the actor they picked to play The Emperor.

^^ somebody please embed it for me, doesn't seem to work!

So is this Matt Smith's last series as the Doctor? I hope it's not, it doesn't really feel like he's been here long enough... And after last nights episode, he's strong acting really shows he's a great doctor!

I'm SO UPSET that 'The Name of The Doctor' has leaked.

I CANT HAVE IT SPOILED FOR ME! *Hides from the internet for the entire week*

It has?!

Which means a good time for me to say Do not post Spoilers here and if you do put them behind the [ spoiler ]testsetsetset[/ spoiler] tag!

I don't believe whole Forgotten Doctor thing - it's a too big plot twist and also, in The Lodger episode Doctor shared memory with Craig and pointing at himself said "Eleven". Moreover, wikipedia says that Smith and Louise-Coleman will be returning in 8 series. Wasn't that news posted by The Sun - which is not very a reliable source?

Nightmare in Silver is easily the best episode of the season. Matt shows some serious wicked acting skills.

I have to agree. I gotta say that this season has been by far the best season as far as Matt Smith's acting skill is concerned. This, and The Rings of Akhaten really showed his skill, that it gave me such chills when I watched it.
