So the Pond's finale with DW gets it's own poster thingie and everything? At least, one assumes the Dalek episode(s) are their finale. Unless they use the Weeping Angels.

The Daleks episode is the first episode of the season so its not their last that's the 5th :p

The BBC have confirmed that Doctor Who will return on September 1 (with the series likely to air on BBC America later the same day), they?ve also released official synopses for the first three episodes!

?Asylum of the Daleks? will kick the series off on BBC One in the UK, with the next four episodes airing on the subsequent Saturdays of the month. If the BBC America schedule for that date is anything to go by, the series opener will be broadcast at 9 p.m. EST, following a marathon of series 6 (although the premiere hasn?t been officially announced for the States, the mysterious gap in an otherwise full schedule seems evidence enough).

But that?s not all! We also have the full synopsis for ?Asylum of the Daleks,? ?Dinosaurs on a Spaceship,? and ?A Town Called Mercy?!

?From Daleks to Dinousaurs and an alien with a grudge, this series features a whole host of guest stars, including: David Bradley, Rupert Graves, Stephen Berkoff, Mike McShane, Ben Browder, Adrian Scarbourgh and Anamaria Marinca.?

Doctor Who executive producer Caroline Skinner has confirmed that the show's title sequence will change every week in the new series.

Speaking to CultBox after the screening of Asylum of the Daleks at London's BFI earlier this week, Skinner told us that a new design of the Doctor Who logo will appear in the title sequence for each episode, reflecting the theme and setting of the story.

The exec revealed that she's looking forward to viewers guessing how the logo will have been tweaked each week.

I'm honestly going to be pretty ticked off if they wind up killing off the Ponds (or one or the other of them, especially Rory I mean COME ON) when they do leave in episode 5 or whatever it is. I know Moffat said it would be the "fall of the Ponds" but um, they also said that about the Doctor (about 200 billion times) and he's still going.

BTW, random thingie here. But that large blue guy that helped the Doctor towards the middle of last series etc (the one who got his head cut off and put in a box lol). Anyone else notice his line when the Doctor was leaving that cave? He says something like, "It's all waiting for you, the fields of Tramador (or something), the FALL OF THE ELEVENTH and the question" Moffat setting up the next regeneration already? I can't imagine Matt Smith doing anymore than another series after this coming one (he'd out do Tennant's run then!).

With any luck we would get a new creative team behind the show as well.

What? I think he did a great job on the show, and he's been gone now for 3 series right? If he was burnt out or something, he'll be all rested up now. Plus, he wrote Torchwood also and even though the Starz Torchwood wasn't that great (and no, I didn't find it "Americanized" I just thought the story was meh) most of Torchwood up until then was brilliant stuff really.

Also, he's gay. I don't know why that matters. :p

I didn't like his stories, I like the darker Moff stories but each to their own I suppose.

I never watched the Torchwood he did in USA it looked a bit corny lol
