DrivenDaily
Is the desk open behind the computer? If not, there isn't anywhere for the hot air to go. tao muon
Definitely cut the fiber-board behind the tower's location in that desk. Also, move the desk about 1/2 to 1 inch away from the wall, if you can. Lord Zog
Cut out some holes in the back of the desk where the PC is, your hot air is staying in the desk. :) Link to comment https://www.neowin.net/forum/topic/583951-fan-layout-overheating-in-desk/#findComment-588808313 Share on other sites
Hellgod
Cut out some holes in the back of the desk where the PC is, your hot air is staying in the desk. :) It's completely open, WITH the AC Vent behind it It's completely open, WITH the AC Vent behind it Part of my issue is i have the 7800 GTX and it's as long as the case, so the front intake fans cant flow air to the uper part of the case, and there is no where else to put fans in the front, SO i ordered a bigger (deeper case) with 120mm fans to see if that helps and hte new one has a cool UV Glass :) Link to comment https://www.neowin.net/forum/topic/583951-fan-layout-overheating-in-desk/#findComment-588808321 Share on other sites
bryonhowley
Cut out some holes in the back of the desk where the PC is, your hot air is staying in the desk. :) I would allso recoment you move the desk from the wall some. A few inches would be enough becouse as it is your computer is just sucking the hot air back into the case.
