Deadlydread
I'm surprised no one created a nfl thread yet...the eagles have been shaky in the first 5 mins. but I'm happy that the nfl is finally back :D I know, lol The panthers looks Superbowl bound today. +100 rushing yards, Steve Smith had his way with the D, Jake Delhomme had an excellent game *Kicks self for not using him in Fantasy*, the Safties which were the biggest concern each had a Forced Fumble, and they held one of the league's best rushers to 58 yards. Nightz
wow...the refs just screwed San Diego. that was the worst non-call ever. glad the chargers came back and won it in the second half though. sanctified Veteran Posted September 10, 2007 Veteran Share Posted September 10, 2007 Little dissapointed with the Bears vs Chargers game. I was expecting total chargers domination (Specially by LT), still they (LT) won, but... I dont know, I am not comfortable with this season start. Now, Ben Roethlisberger, it seems he is back in shape, what a game! And Randy Moss performance... wow, who said he was done? I am damn glad that Jay Cutler had a great start. This kid will be great. To be honest I am expecting the 49ers vs Cardinals game more thatn the Ravens-Bengals one. My main reason is that both 49ers and Card were the teams that improved more in the preseason. I hope to see Leinart make great calls. Its great not beign from the US. You can cheer for any team, any time and keep objective. Culpepper or McCown Well, three TD's against the Lions is nothing to be proud of. Maybe we will evaluate this game better at the end of the season, lets see if Kitna's predictions are right. Steffan
there were a couple of news worthy signings today... Tank Johnson signed a 2 year contract with the Dallas Cowboys. Byron Leftwich signed a 2 year contract with the Atlanta Falcons. TDQuiksilver
Atlanta needs Byron pretty bad... heh. Tank is worthless considering all the baggage he comes with. Steffan
Brady has been insane this season so far. He already has 10 TDs already. He just needs another 113 passing yards to reach 1000. Lucky I have him on my team :) Link to comment https://www.neowin.net/forum/topic/586710-national-football-league-2007-thread/#findComment-588870247 Share on other sites
Mathachew Veteran Posted September 24, 2007 Veteran Share Posted September 24, 2007 That Pats look primed for an AFC rematch against Indy. Yesterday's game with Indy vs Houston was good. Sure as heck was more entertaining than watching my Saints play Indy on opening night. The Cowboys/Bears game got off to a slow start, but then Dallas found their groove and ran all over the Bears. I also did better than I expected with Pick 'em. Toology
The Packers were absolutely dead in the 2nd half last night versus the Bears. :/ It's a game they should have won easily with the pace they had in the beginning. Tillman forced the key turnovers. Link to comment https://www.neowin.net/forum/topic/586710-national-football-league-2007-thread/#findComment-588906575 Share on other sites
Mathachew Veteran Posted October 9, 2007 Veteran Share Posted October 9, 2007 That was quite a comeback from Dallas. What a cheap, cheap, cheap, cheap, cheap, cheap, cheap, cheap move to call timeout right before the kick. Cheap, utterly and annoyingly cheap. Yet Dallas still came out with the win despite the cheap move. That ain't strategy, that's cheap.
