Michael Lacey
Hi, I have the Motorla Wireless card listed in the title, and can't get it to work. I've downloaded the 1.1 drivers from the internet, copied them to my laptop, and used ndiswrapper -i and modprobe ndiswrapper to get it running. The card lights up, but from there on I'm stuck. Using pump -i reports Operation Failed. Using iwconfig I can only set the encryption key. If I try to set the ESSID and then check the status it reports off/any still. I've got no idea what to do now, anybody got this to work? Link to comment https://www.neowin.net/forum/topic/586919-damn-small-linux-wn825g/ Share on other sites
markwolfe Veteran Posted September 10, 2007 Veteran Share Posted September 10, 2007 Here is how someone got it to work in Mepis. http://www.mepis.org/node/5047 The concept should pretty much transfer to DSL. Sorry, I don't use wireless in Linux, so I cannot be more specific. Michael Lacey
Thanks for the offer, however I came accross that while googling as well, and it didn't work.
