Office word help

Question

My girlfriend has been tasked to find some info on health and safety for a project so has been copying it all from various websites into a work document however on one page there appears to be a black line which i cant get rid of, tried everything from changing styles to deleting it but it wont budge. The line is on page 7/13, if you manage to get rid of it let me know how you did it :)

Thanks

Well, pagination is ending up different on my box than it is on yours. The document is only 12 pages for me.

What, exactly, are you seeing?

I see an underline that looks extended to full page width on one item on my page 7, and again on an item on page 8. Is that what you are talking about? (this item on the lower part of the screenshot is a "border" that can be removed under Format > Borders and Shading)

I also see an obnoxious bouncing back and forth between fonts. Some serif and some sans-serif.

Im using office 2007 so it looks slightly different, for me the its after the paragraph "death" pictured above. On my version there is no line under the "reportable major injuries" so i guess that line is what im talking about but just appears in slightly different places. If you could get rid of the line there and see if that makes any difference when i view it?

That much formatting differences between two different copies of Word? And people complain about OpenOffice... :ermm:

Anyhow, here is the file, with me removing the "borders" in Word 2003, and saving.

thanks a lot :)
Did that work?
How's this? Plus yeah as mark said, you need a standard font and heading type. Plus, you spelt Safety wrong...
There were a few other spelling errors throughout the document (words like "occurrences" with only one "r"). I assume that these will be fixed on a review at a later time.
