Yusuf M. Veteran Posted October 13, 2008 Veteran Share Posted October 13, 2008 The custom badge colour idea is interesting but it may be too cumbersome. Most of the colours are already being used by the staff in their badges. Also, the remaining (potential) colours may not appeal to everyone. darren89
haha...i'm not that interested with subscribing to neowin. prefer to stay with what i am :) sorry...i don't really see that many uses to subscribe...don't really have the money to spend too. *broke*
Oja
can't send money, and 10 euros is over 150 krones, so .. it's 3 bottles of vodka or bottle of whiskey, prefer that.
GregSpinks
I find it rude for people to say they'd prefer this, they'd prefer that or "i'd rather use the services for free" in a such a thread like this when the staff obviously work their butts off. If you can't subscribe or have no intention to then what's the point in saying anything else? I know i'm not a subscriber, but I have been and I rarely visit here anymore. It doesn't make me a hypocrit to be saying this though.

Quick question that I find amusing & confusing: How could you have been a subscriber before when you only have one post & this is the post? :D

Mercellus
Well, I've decided to add myself to the list of subscribers. I must come here at least 10 times a day (this site keeps me sane at work), and it's almost as bad as my habit of checking Facebook.

+Frank B. Subscriber² Posted November 14, 2008 Subscriber² Share Posted November 14, 2008 Well, I've decided to add myself to the list of subscribers. I must come here at least 10 times a day (this site keeps me sane at work), and it's almost as bad as my habit of checking Facebook. Neowin is strangely addictive, isn't it... For reasons I'm not going to divulge I was upset with this site and its staff back in August, and told myself I'd stay away from it. Two months later I came back, posting actively, hanging out on the Neowin IRC server and even re-subscribed. Why? Because it's still the best tech forum on the interwebtubes, and has a great community.

I like the community and how, for the most part, everyone gets along even during a debate, and whenever there's a question there are always at least 3 answers and supporting material. Neowin really is a great resource, and I figured that seeing as I come here so much (I have been lurking for a while before I decided to register) that I might as well pony up the little bit of change it took to register and help support the site. Rappy Veteran Posted November 16, 2008 Veteran Share Posted November 16, 2008 This (Right click and save as) is a PSD I picked up from Neowin that I used as long as you have the font that matches the sig it should be ok in Photoshop. If you don't have PS btw Rob does all the Sigs on here.

Rudy
How about customer color badges? I might subscribe for that. It wouldn't work at all, the forum name colors are meant to make it easy to spot staff etc, and that would break the whole thing
Zickar
Enhanced Service & BlogApart from supporting Neowin financially we also offer extended services for members for a measly ?10 (or round about $12.50 USD) This package allows you to start a blog, offers extended topic/post editing, flood control significantly shortened, boosts PM storage to 200 messages, raises the upload limit for attachments to 1mb, includes a support forum and your online status is updated with + in front of your name and a shiny badge to show you support Neowin. There is also an extra forum tied to the package where Subscribers are invited to post topics we wouldn't allow on the public forums (although nothing illegal is welcome there, our forum rules still apply).Sign up here!b> When you say 12.50$ is that a monthly fee or an annual one ?? Edit :Never Mind .. I found that out How can I pay for the subscribtion though Since we don't have PAYPAL (They Blacklisted Lebanon on PAYPAL), do you have something like a bank account I can transfer the money to ??
