I remember browsing Winbeta.org and I think I noticed Neowin.net as a source for one of their articles. The rest is history.

Exactly how I came across Neowin. Back at that stage I was looking for info on the new messenger beta or WMP 9 or something like that.

Neowin is one of the most informative, friendly and visually pleasing websites I've been to - that's what keeps me coming back.

Hello, I come in peace.

I found Neowin a few months ago when I bought a new pc with Vista on it. I went searching for a forum that could help me with some problem I had. I see that I did not post here at that time so I'm guessing I may have found my answer here simply by doing a search.

And now, I have yet another important question and I'm off to ask that question in the appropriate forum.

Aww lookit the good wittle noobie. Welcome! And awesome you've already got the system figured out!

I er found this place actually looking for... Uh... Do I want to take this where I was going to... Um...

Nah; I remember looking for Linux help about a month prior to when I joined and finally I made an account to ask a question. I wasn't really that active and still can't seem to put the effort into post-whoring or even being an amazing hand in the forums I'm good at but I'm always here.

WOW... I'm almost at 4 years... As if... I'm gonna have start crafting an anniversary post. Funny thing is is very few people even know I'm here. I almost like it that way.

A Web search led me here to a thread dealing with how to download the Realtek R 2.06 ALC888 Driver.

The link was to Major Geeks whaich this time worked perfectly

Many thanks to whoever posted that thread and greetings to all.

Thanks google. I can't remember what I was looking for but I ended up here and I said to myself "this look serious website, kind like Geekzone.fr where I have my habits". So I registered and more than a year after (meaning about a week now) I start posting. And it can't be bad for my english. :D
